As a young child, Robert Armentor of Armentor Painting & Specialties, LLC, was strongly influenced by his Dad and six brothers. His Dad was a carpenter and handyman. There was always some kind of construction going on around Robert. However, in his teens, he became interested in the electronic industry. After high school, he attended a technical college and earned an associate degree in Industrial Electronics. In 1988, Robert moved from his home in Lafayette to Dallas to work for Texas Instruments in the Defense Contract Department.

After four years and the victim of budget cuts, Robert was laid off. He returned home and rejoined the family business. His brothers, Jim and Ken, had developed a construction

company during Robert's employment in Dallas. Robert suggested they add a painting division due to the demand he noticed in the field. Robert served as Paint Foreman for the family business for 11 years.

In March 2006, Robert and Stephanie Armentor formed Armentor Painting & Specialties, LLC. Their combined experience and education results in an ethical and expertly run company. A native of Lafayette, Stephanie earned a degree in Theology from Christian Life Academy and even served as a Children's Pastor. She opened a Day Care Center. Now the experience of running a business applies to Armentor Painting & Specialties. The mission of the company is to produce quality work and satisfied customers. From interior and exterior painting to construction and renovations, Armentor Painting & Specialties, LLC can do it all.

Robert and Stephanie are also very involved in the development of new painters. By sharing their 30 plus years of experience and training, workers are able to enter the field of painting and home and business improvement. This is just another way the couple have found to serve and to give back to their community.
